Illness and old age can be deeply isolating. We believe these moments deserve presence, dignity, and love. Rooted in the Gospel and inspired by Amanda’s life, we walk with the sick and the aged, offering comfort, companionship, and hope. This is faith lived daily.
Your generosity ensures no one faces illness or old age alone.
To bring hope, comfort, and joy to the sick and aged through everyday Christian service.
A church community where the sick and aged are never isolated or forgotten.
This Easter season, we encourage families and friends to gather gently used clothes, toys, books and household essentials and donate them to support individuals and families in need. Together, we can refresh our homes while filling someone else’s basket with hope and dignity.
Moments of faith, presence,
and compassion from those we serve.
When I fell ill and could no longer move around on my own, I felt forgotten and invisible. But the volunteers’ visits reminded me that God still sees and cares for me. They came with smiles, prayers, and songs that lifted my spirit. Even the simple act of holding my hand filled me with hope. I now wait eagerly for every visit because I feel valued and deeply loved again.
I used to spend my days in silence, with no one to speak to. Then one Sunday afternoon, a group came singing hymns and reading the Word of God with me. I wept—not only for the food or the prayer, but because I felt remembered. Their visit brought warmth into my home and peace back into my heart.
For many years, I worked hard to provide for my family. When age and sickness came, I felt like I had nothing left to offer. But when the team came to pray and share with me, they reminded me that my life still has meaning. Their kindness and presence showed me that my story is not over. I thank God for the joy and dignity they have restored in my heart.
When I was younger, I served in the Church choir for many years. As my health failed, I believed that chapter of my life had closed. But through the ministry’s visits, I found my song again—not with my voice, but with renewed faith. Their prayers and fellowship have strengthened my spirit, and I now know that God has never forgotten me.
Every visit, prayer, and smile matters. Volunteers help restore dignity and hope.
At ABK Trust, we strive to ensure that no sick or aged person in our community feels isolated or forgotten. We provide resources, companionship and spiritual support, embodying the love and dedication that Amanda so beautifully exemplified.
